I have a p900 about 2 months old but am have trouble downloading webpages when using GPRS or WAP. All i get is a blank page and the loading bar at the top, usually saying 1kb.
Now the phone works with the normal UIQ browser and Opera works when connected to the cradle or BT running from my ADSL line, But not WAP or GPRS. I have also tried 6.20 and 6.30 still to no avail???????
N E help would be greatly appreciated. Regards AJ

I would say contact your provider and get the details for their internet instead of plain WAP connection.

Can u download with pages with ur default SE browser. If so then try downloading simple sites like
www.cnn.com. from the url not the bookmark Try clearing ur cache before downloading . Also make sure u r using the appropriate wap settings.

Does N E one know where i can find the GPRS settings of O2 in the UK. Ive allways used the WAP Configurator on SE site.
Its allways worked well on p800. Like i said, UIQ's browser works with GPRS but not Opera.

Hi.
If you are using O2 GPRS you will need to ask O2 to set you up on the mobile internet to access the web. As default, they set you up on WAP GPRS and this just aint good enough to get onto the internet, it just lets you browse WAP pages.
