Nope. The only place that an animated GIF will appear animated is in the screensaver.

Why?? The mobile itself can support screensaver, why not to the theme wallpaper, and i just replace the wallpaper.gif to wallpaper.gif(animated). Thanks

I don't know. That's just the way that they programmed it. I'm sure if you would like to go into the phone's program and reprogram it so that we can have an animated GIF on the Wallpaper, many people would love you for it!

Ha ha. To tell you the 100% truth, I haven't tried, but I assume that one of two things will happen. I think that either the program will not let you place an animated GIF into the program or if you can, it will just use the first frame of the GIF. Unsure, though, but believe me, it will not work.

Yes, i think only show the first firm. How the Screensaver work on my t630? Try 2 set with screensaver on my mobile, only the SE logo show on screen then turn black and clock show. How to apply animated screensaver on my mobile? Thanks

To set the screensaver, from the standby, go to the desktop, Settings >> Display >> Screensaver.
