Bookmark topic
Hi. I have a SonyEricsson P800 which I did not buy at a Cingular store. I also have GAIT phone and I am using the SIM from it to put in my p800 but not getting a singnal that is Cingular. I get a T-Mobile and AT&T singnal but very weak. If i take the SIM card out from the P800 and turn it on I can dial 000 for emegency number and talk to a 911 operator for this area but when I use the SIM I can't dial out at all to anything it just hangs the phone and I have to reboot it to stop it from trying to connect. Oh and I was in TN last week and got a good Cingular signal that was usable. Any suggestions? ...recently I purchased a New SIM from Cingular and they Activated it but I am still having the same issues with this new SIM. Please Help..thanks
.....I dont think there is anything wrong with the phone as it worked just fine in TN but mayby something diff about network in Ga? I don't know all this SIM stuff is not working in my P800 maybe Cingular really does have problems?
Update- when using the manual GSM network option I get signal from AT&T, T-Mobile but in auto it finds nothing. I have to set it back to manual then power phone down then back on for it to get signals....hmmm
