is there a way to get ringtones/sounds recorded off the mic/custom made ringtones off the phone via a data cable or something?
my area doesnt have mms yet..
i have a t616

Nope, cables won't work. They only send from the PC to the phone. You've got to go, via bluetooth or IR.

There shouldnt be any problem to install a bt dongle on your computer. It should only take you 5-10minutes. You can even get one much cheaper then a cable.
