Hi guyz,

When we all got our P900's for free 3 months ago and expect to change to lower tarrif.
I just tried to change and was told the lowest i could change down to was £30 a month , because of the handset i owned (not).
Now i made a real fuss and asked for the manager but was told they couldn't put me through , i said there was nothing in the contract ect to say i could not change to any tarriff i chose and was told by the store i could change to any after 3 months. Anyway they wouldn't change it so......
I got intouch with the o2 store i bought the phone from in December and they said it was rubbish and would sort it out. 20 mins later i got a call of apology from main o2 and now my tarriff is on the o2 lesure time £15 a month with an apology.
So just beware if they try to bulls*** you!!

Thanks for the warning. I got mine from CPW in december after they price matched the o2 shop deal. I can't change my contract down till l've been on it 6 months (though I don't mind as I'm a heavy minutes user anyway). Might call them in 3 months out of interest to see what they say! I was one of the people who took advantage of the o2 offer. Had no end of problems with them since- won't go into it now. I have phoned them and they have said they will change my tariff. Don't take any crap from them.

@Zathras: I have found the online account management thing an absolute pile of shite- pisses me off to the max. Most pages just time out and it is really really slow just to load. Have you or anyone else experienced problems with the Account Management site?

Cheers,
Veedub

I called them last week and got it downgraded to the £15 tariff. Had no problem what so ever. If any CS guy says no then just hang up and call again you will never (almost) get the same person again.
