> T300 Contacts disappearing HELP

i have a t300, thats been flashed to a t310.
lately ive noticed random contacts saved in my phone book have been literally disappearing, and i have no idea why.
I found a way to locate them, and thats to go into the phone book > advanced > position List.
On that list is every single one of my contacts from my sim and mobile i presume. Even after i see it on that list i cant add it as a contact, or even text or call it, i have to write the number down and re type it
in which case when i do, it will say on the screen "callin joe blogs mob" even when it doesnt display in my phone book.
there is more than likely some little setting that could be changed to make all this right, but if anyone can help me itd be much appreciated as this is holding me up from making some important calls.
