Sony Erisson P900 Problem!
I've searched the forums but I could not find a answer to my problem, which is, how do I transfer a large file i.e. a video file via bluetooth to the 128mb Memory Stick Duo, whenever I try, it just sends the file to the internal memory, which has not got enough room. How do I configure the P.C. or the Phone in order to transfer the file to the external Memory.
Hope some brainy person is out there who can help.

When you send the file to the phone it'll be in "beamed" messages. From there you should be able to view/open and save to the directory of your choosing.

Yes but the beamed folder is part of the "Internal" memory. He wants to transfer a file that is presumably larger than the internal capacity.

I haven't tried this but can't you just use the PC suite software and then copy and paste the file into a directory on the duo stick? I can do that via Irda

Similar sort of question how do you download a file from the internet directly onto the duostick cause it just keeps trying to go on the internal memory which isn't big enough. or alternatively anyone know where i can get a copy of appforge which isn't massive?

actually, when your phone is connected to your pc via cradle/cable/BT, if you launch windows explorer, the phone should appear on your list of drives or My Bluetooth Places.
just expand the phone's drives and when you select the memory stick it should show you the available folders. then just drag and drop your files to the phone.
the only limitation is that windows explorer only shows you the folders in the phone's Media Files directory. if you wanted to place them in any other directory, then best that you use the epoc file manager.
btw, the drag and drop also works with my z600 without any problems when hooked up via BT.
