The sony mms home studio supports midis but its limited to a certain type. In other words you cant rip a cd and send it to the phone I tried it. there are midi sites you can get anything from by searching. I prefer Floats mobile agent aka. FMA to send midis but the sony software you can edit them so they arent so long.

Ok I dont use mms but it put it in messages/mms/templates. That explains a lot I had that happen a few times and never did figure where it went LoL.

Ive figured out how to find things that dissapear after loading goto pictures/more/memory status look for jumps or stuff that wasnt there before. You cant see it there only delete but you can find it that way.

I prefer FMA its easier to use and dosnt do strange things though im sure sonys mms did what it was supposed to just not what you have in mind.

Anyway Im still trying to figure out how to move it out of mms I just thought Id let you try too.

Hope this helps... Marcie

This is a link to fma site youll need Fma 0.1.0.31b and Im assuming all the 3 files listed under it. I got mine with my cable.

http://fma.xinium.com/index2.htm

This is much better if you want to edit midis I found this program today though you should still be able to edit in mms and save then go and get it with fma. http://perso.magic.fr/llebot/welcome.htm

You can find midis here http://www.musicrobot.com/

I found that if you go between mmms and fma they wont share the phone even if you close them so you may have to restart to get it to see your phone.

I dont see anyway to get it from template or unsent to somewhere else which imuho is kind of stupid. But then Im mms iliterate.

up until this point, I still can't figure out how to connect with Fma...I restart my pc, I closed my cellphone, I unplug/replug the data cable...>_
Does the program really support T226?...I put the data cable on Com port 3 and I enable it. SE my picture and Sony Mms home studio work perfectly -.-

Ok....you know what com port its on double check in device manager to make sure its port 3 and no conflicts. Ive noticed on my laptop I can assign one usb independent of the other so I have to make sure to use the same usb port. Also check in device manager to make sure it shows as a prolific usb to serial device

Now open fma window and click tools/options/connection/ tick serial port and make sure its set to port 3 baud 115200 and rts enable and the other disabled. Mine is set to port 2 for some reason, I did it, but dont know why so if 3 dosnt work make them all 2.

ahhhh...still not working >_
1) I make sure the phone is on and the data cable is connected to both phone and PC
2) I go on Control Panel, System, Device Manager to check the USB port (which indicate COM3)
3) I go on Control Panel, Phone Monitor to make sure the COM3 is enable
4) I open FMA
5) I make sure is Baud...is 115200, com3 and RTS enable, DTR disable
6) I connect
7) after 15 sec or so, it says: connection failed phone disconnect or out of range

did I do anything wrong?? -.-
