Hi all i'm agonising over weather to buy p900 the trouble is i'm a steel erector and have to wear a harness to work i've had 7650 for 12 month with no trouble at all but i wanted to upgrade to p8/900 or even 6600 has does any of you do a physical job and how does your phone stand up to knocks/bangs and sweat ?Thanks This message was posted from a Nokia 7650

hmm ... i would say you're taking a risk.
the 7650 is actually pretty robust, a friend of mine has knocked his about quite frequently. i doubt my p900 would have survived such handling.

one thing i can also think of, is that it'd actually be hard for you to operate when on the job. with your hands all dirty, you'd scratch the screen in no time and the stylus wouldn't slide out anymore since it would be covered in grease and you wouldn't get a proper grip to pull it out.

i'd suggest you go with a no-touch-screen phone. if you still want sync and apps etc, you might want to check out those ms smartphones (SPV, SPV2, SPVx, Mitac Mio etc)

Thanks mores for taking the time to reply.....You said everything i didn't want to hear.....But you're right the 7650 has as i said been excellent but i need expandable memory now so it's looking like the 6600 for me.
