not sure if this was posted before, buti was messing around with sman today just looking what was in the system folders on the p900 and noticed that in A:\sysdata there is the startup mp4 the shutdown mp4 and the sound that sounds when you turn on and off the phone. I havnt tried this yet but i would guess if you wanted your own animations or sounds at startup and shutdown you can just get an mp4 or a .wav and rename it to the same name that is on the p900 and replace the file. I will try it i guess and tell you guys if it works

I think A:\ is a read-only drive. But from what I have read, there are ways to change these animations. Search the forums for this information.

This is only possible for those of us whose animations are NOT resident in the A drive, as the rom files are not modifiable. But it is possible on SE firmware versions. Follow the link above for more information.
