i have a problem with my black branded t-mobile t630 the functions seems to be different from the white t630. is flashing the only option to get rid of the "t-zone" thing where the "more" button is suppose to be on the right hand side of the screen? and can flashing it get rid of the ringing sound before the polyringtone comes on?.....and does anyone know where i can get a all black sticker thing for the bottom of ur phone? i want to replace the pink t-mobile sticker cuz i can't stand it!.....thank you!

Flashing would indeed get rid of the branding (T-Mobile crap), if you do it right, though. If you simply take it to an SE center, they will only upgrade your firmware, not unbrand it.
In order to unbrand it, you must flash the GDFS area. This is where the branding is contained.
As for the little sound that comes right before the ringer, search the darn forum!!!
Here's an answer!!!

rdnymllnsktr,
I see you're in the US. I'm currently living in Florida and I have the T-Mobile T630. I called SE and they told me not to send my phone to them because it would take over a month to have my firmware upgraded. Now that you said it would not remove the T-Mobile customizations I'm happy that I never sent them my phone!
Anyways, do you know where I can take or send my phone to have the T-Mobile custom. removed and have the firmware upgraded in the US? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
