I don't think there is a recent thread specifically for Mac users so I thought I'd start one ...
I know a lot of you are connecting your phones to PCs from the threads I've read [and boy, is it complicated!!], but there doesn't seem to be that much discussion about SE phones and Macs.
So Mac users: post here with any hints, tips, what software you use, problems you may have, etc.
To get things going, do all you Mac users know about the software available to connect your SE phones to your Mac? Here's a link that may be useful:

Here's hoping this will become a lively thread

I am using a P800 which I sync with my Wallstreet Powerbook (running Jaguar 10.2.

and iSync and iCal. O yes, Wallstreet has no bluetooth so I got a dongle which works pretty fine.
For file transer, Bluetooth File Exchange does the job well.
Of course, I can't do without a MS stick reader to transfer heavy duty files like videos and oggs.
Pretty all rounded if you ask me about using Mac and a SE...

I agree with Altezza_lex about phoneagent - it's a bit pricey at $30 (£20 to me) but is far and away the most complete program for linking the t610 to the Mac and in my opinion, well worth the money. You can send sms direct from your Mac, back up your phonebook and sim and a lot more.

The other program I use a lot is Ericsson Client. This works great with the t68 (that's what it was written for) but also works perfectly with my t610 (don't know about other models as I can't test it). It is ideal for basic file transfers and also allows a backup of the phone book.

In fact, when I changed to the t610 recently, from a t68, I backed up the t68 phonebook and calendar to the Mac using this program and then just sent the files to my t610: phonebook and calendar populated, no problem
Great response to this thread so quickly! Hope it's useful!

Hi KarmenV, the only theme editor for the t610 I know of is phoneagent. Only thing is, you can't save themes without registering the program
For the t68, there is
http://homepage.mac.com/tobiaslidskog/T68ThemeEdit/index.html
and as the page says, it may be updated for the t610.
Hope this helps,
David
