I'm away on a training course next week and would like to use my P900 to access the internet through the wireless connection at the hotel instead of using GPRS.....should be cheaper!
Can I do this?

Afraid not, the Px00s can't connect to wireless networks.
You would have to have a laptop with a wireless card, then bluetooth to the laptop.
That's a bit of a pain in the arse though!

Yep! p800/P900 don't have Wi-Fi support.
But the new to be P series phone will have Wi-Fi support, from the rumours we now that is.
The new Nokia's Communicator will also have Wi-Fi support... but... well... it's a Nokia

Plus, WiFi would make the phone a lot bulkier, and drain the batt in about an hour flat.

Yeah but the option to include it would not be a bad one! You can decied when to turn it on or off when you pleased! I would prefer to have Wireless, than drains my battery to one hour, than have none

It's far easier and cheaper to just buy a WiFi PCMCIA card from somewhere like PCWorld or DABs (online)
I picked a couple up for less than £40 each and they are very easy to install and use.
Just make sure that the hotel doesn't rip you off for daily access fees - I've been hit with £14.95 in one hotel for 24 hours access whilst in the US it's around $10 in hotels and $6 in Starbucks

if he's asking about doing it through his pxx its pretty obvious dude dont have a lap top!
though the ideas mentioned so far are valid my advice is to buy a Bluetoothe router and then make a visit to the net connection point then whack the router in to it and quickly configure and pair devices and as long as your within 6-8 meters of the damn thing Opera will be humming away nicely.
