I have another problem, and it's really irritating me, I noticed this after I upgraded to R4A06:
I set my default ringtone to one MP3 file (apart from those close friends and relatives that I assigned certain MP3 files). The problem is, sometimes when somebody call me (my contacts, or alien), the ringtones that ringing is the Sony Ericsson default ! Anybody else experience this problem ? Any idea ? Thanks.

I had the same prob, but now use sman. take a snapshot after you have assigned all your ringtones and hey presto, it worked for me

make shure that the Mp3 is in the phone memory, not the stick, that way it wont change when you take out the stick, or put in a new one

i had this problem, if you downloaded the track to your p900, then moved the mp3 to another folder it will revert to the default (it states this in the manual) it doesant matter if the mp3 is on the phone or the external memory, once you are happy with where the tone is stored then set it as the ringtone but as previously mentioned if you change theme or anything it will revert to the default, hope this works for you!
