Does anyone here use the covertec case on their P800 without the "wips" system? I want a real clip so that I can put the phone on my pocket when I'm not wearing pants with a belt.

I use the Covertec case,WITH clip though...
If i understood you correctly, you want to hang the phone inside your pocket??

Well, technically, you COULD do that with the covertec, for the clip system really has a clip on it...
It's a 2 part construction. The case, with a 'nob' attached to it, which you 'slide' into the holder. This holder is a small plastic device, with a plastic clip attached to it.. You can hang this clip on your belt, but you could also hang it inside your pocket.

You'd better have damn large pockets though, cause hanging it inside your pocket makes it pretty impossible to sit down, without crushing your phone...

But if that's your preference, yes it can be done with a covertec case....

Sorry mate, you never actually wrote INSIDE, did you!
My bad!!!
Well, hanging it ON you pocket would be possible, but i wouldn't recommend it..The clip is only 2,5 cm long, and since the fabric of your pants issn't very stiff, the clip could slip off with some movements, causing your phone to plummit. On your belt the clip 'locks' to your belt because there is a 'ledge' on the top of the clip. the ledge goes around your belt, and prevents it to slide off, with your pocket, the ledge would have nothing to hold on to...

Hope this helps you out!

Thanks for the response. I was hoping to get a different clip like the one on the Piel Frama case but I don't think there is one. I think have to get the Piel Frama case. I did want to clip it to the inside of my pocket when I wear sweat pants because I won't have a belt and I don't want to put ithe in my pocket without a clip because I was worried about the phone falling out.

In that case i would not recommend the Covertec either. I've never used Piel Farma, so i don't know if that's better in this case, but the Covertec would slip off too easily....
