I had problems from the beginning and I have never been able to sync with the cradle. Only by IR.
Anyway since IR worked before I decided to stick with that, but now not even IR sync doesn't work anymore.
It doesn't seem to be a connection problem because IR connects and the little phone symbol comes up on the Task Bar and I can transfer files from the phone to the computer. When try to sync the "Synchronization in progress" comes up and after i while the "synchronization status" becomes "initializing" by the contacts symbol.
But then nothing happens.

I did a change in "sync station settings". I put synchronize with "windows address book" instead of "outlook".
And it worked - the sync was completed even if it took a little while to begin.
This means the problem probably is in outlook.

Seems like I found the problem. I read that you have to set your internet settings in the windows system control panel to Microsoft outlook as program for e-mail (not outlook express).

In fact I had outlook express in the settings so I changed that and it worked. It was rather slow to begin though. It seemed like it tried to access Outlook many times with no success. After 5 min I looked and there was the pop-up where you grant access to Outlook. I give access for 10 min and the sync woked out. I tried a second time and the sync was aborted, I don't know why. The third time it worked again but always slow to begin. Seems a little bit instable. Maybe that is because of the IR?
