> P900 stopped vibrating :-(

Hi
My P900 has stopped vibrating, even if you test it in the service menu nothing!! if you listen carefully though you can hear a rapid ticking sound coming from the phone. Now the only thing that i can think caused this is dropping the phone from my topshirt pocket to pick something up say about 50 cm drop onto carpet, surely this little drop couldnt have kill my p900s vibrator could it (I once dropped my T68i at speed whilst running onto concrete pavement and that survived with a few scratches)
I got my P900 from O2 what do i do now? do i take it to them or can i take it to a SE service centre? Is there one near Birmingham?
Thanks

the drop could have dislodged it so its vibrating the air and not the phone. If u give it to celestia (assuming ur in uk) you wont get it back for a while but they'll fix the problem.

just take it to you nearest carphonewarehouse service centre. they ought to repair the problem or replace the phone. as long as they can;t tell you dropped the phone, they should do it under warranty.
i think it will be a hardware issue rather than software, so not point in updating the firmware.
hope this helps.

Sorry i havent been able to reply, internet access been down for the past week.
I took my P900 to the wolverhampton O2 store where i got it from. They said they would send it back to see what was wrong and in the mean time they have givrn me a loan phone a SE T300 along with car charger, car holder, hands freekit
So hopefully it will be back soon. They said if it needed to be taken apart then they would send it back to the manufacturer and if they did that they would wipe all data of the phone does that mean it will come back unbranded ?
Thanks
