I'm wordering is SE p900 has the function "Cell Info" that similar to nokia? Its something like showing the location where you are. i.e. city name, suburb name....

Yes, it has the function. The P900 can be set to display cell info if your network broadcasts it.

Yeah, I'm on O2 and mine does that (sort of). Channel 200 will get you the four local area codes nearest to you. O2 have always done this, I used to have it on my GA628. It's pretty useless though.

Orange doesnt have this facility, o2 you have to set to channel 200 to get the 4 nearest area codes. Vodafone is already preset so all you have to do is turn it on, that gives you the area code of the area you are in not the 4 nearest. T-Mobile and Virgin dont use it either

I use miniGPS for Cell Info, it doesn't give area codes or city details but you can see what Cell you are in and what frequency its broacasting at.
You can set it to send messages & alarms for when you enter certain cells. Its not a bad App, its free & takes up minimal space.
