I wonder if anyone has done it and documented how..

problem is..

I want to make it available to ppl download contacts via wap..

I hav webserver.. database of ppl and their contacts

php capability on apache webserver..

now I'd like to get those contacts to phhone.. 1 contact at a time.. and if possible then maby option to download em all atonce..

I guess its smething to do with the vcard, but could not find any useful post in our Esato forums

I wonder if there is some step by step guide how to do it, what fields are available for different phones etc..

Interesting idea.

I guess you could have the server generate a .vcd file for a contact and then download it - don't know if the phone would accept it though.

I might give it a try!!

Small problem might be that all phones are not as compatable as they might seem!!

You may need each and every one on your list to consent with having their data available on wap as well...

Actually thoose ppl in list hav added their data to oorganisations website already..

and given the permission to distribute it among other members.. so i havto figure out how to password protect that wap section also.. as is main website..

havto check the vcd file standards then..

Well - downloading the .vcf file seems to work on my T610!

Using a bit of php to create them on the fly should be a doddle!
