> Change T610 cover for firmware upgrade?

I originally got the silver T610 last june and a number of months ago i changed the cover myself to the better looking oem red one.
Do you think i should change the cover back to silver when i bring the phone in to get a firmware upgrade?
Or will not they not know what cover was meant to be with the phone?

Hm, there's a chance that they won't let you upgrade your FW. If you are getting it done under warranty, they might be anal and say some crap like since you took your phone apart that it's no longer covered by warranty and that they can't upgrade it. Just hope that you get a representative who's kind of lax.

The place is just a general mobile phone repair place so they probably wont care. And best to use the old "what? thats how i got it. I know nothing about phones and stuff" excuse. The act dumb excuse. They can't fault that.

Oh and just ordered a terminaotr dongle cable thing anyway so i guess i can do it myself now then. Cellular support the best place to for the updates?
