The P800/900 is getting better as a PIM, but it still has a way to go before it can totally replace my Palm (Clie NR70V).
A good PIM needs at least:
1) a good calendar
2) a good contacts manager
3) a good database manager (or if you prefer: a diary)

Now there is Aqua Calendar, www.aquawell.ru, that can compare with Datebk5 or Agendus for Palm OS. And it's getting better all the time

It has icons, templates, 7 views, links to contacts...

There is also a pretty good contact manager, Vito Quick contact, www.vitotechnology.com, that has an improved search function. But it still has a way to go to be a PIM app for heavy users.

But there is no really good database and notes organizer for UIQ. Nothing like PhatNotes for Palm or ThinkDB2 (also Palm). There is Epochware's Handy Databank, but it lacks the basic links to calendar, contacts and notes. And they haven't updated it for a long time.

So I still have to use two machines. Hope there will soon be a good data base manager/organizer for UIQ.

Have you tried a software called Projekt by Kylom? I use it as a database management and it has a good links to COntact, Calendar and Task(ToDo). You can get more information from Kylom's website :

Oh, I completely forgot to mention Project.
It sure has potential, specially fore those who like to work with a tree structure.
But I'm waiting for a better interaction with calendar and contacts. Not just a search function, but true integration. And it also needs a link to other notes.
