Free GPRS Mb 0.50. This inclusive GPRS bundle can be used with
GPRS enabled handsets. This will allow you to surf the Mobile Internet
and connect your phone to a laptop to access full mobile web. If you
have purchased a Media Messaging handset, you will be able to access
mobile web but you will not be able to connect these phones to a
laptop.

GPRS £ per Mb £3.00

Took this from an e-mail telling me what I'm entitled to etc. Just one thing, what in the hell does it mean????

P.S, sorry if in the wrong section

Maybe @masseur can help you out here. Just send him a pm mate. His services are for free, just don't hesitate OK . . .

maybe you have 0.5MB GPRS traffic for free, then it costs £3/MB... you can only use it for WAP, using your phone as a GPRS modem with your computer will not work.

When you access the internet with ur phone thru GPRS u get charged for the number of kb/mb u send and receive and not by the time u spend on the internet. Each internet page u download or each email u access also uses some kb/mb.
So ur notice is saying that the first 0.5mb u use is free after which u pay 3 pounds for each additional MB u use. (sorry, no sign for pounds on my US computer).
Be careful though. Depending on how much internet access u want and ur service plan u can easily rack up a lot of MB. On my old plan I got hit with almost $60 b4 I realized what was going on. Now I've switched to T-Mobile and have a flat monthly charge with unlimited MB.
I guess in the UK there r much better plans out there.
