Hi all,

in the new T630 and T637 phones, SE has added a function to be able to resize the image taken at 240x320 (CIF) using the camera, to VGA size (480x640) so it looks better when viewed on a PC.

Taken from SE website:
"Want to look at your pictures on your computer screen? The T637 can automatically enlarge pictures to VGA size (480 x 640 pixels). Software included in the phone recalculates picture size - without forgoing quality."

Two questions:
1) How effective is this feature ? After all SE promise "without forgoing quality."

2) As it is a software feature, do you think it can be (will be?) added also to the Z600 (& I guess for those interested, T610) in the future ? Anyone know ? Care to speculate ?

1) judge for yourself. I put a couple of pics in my T630 review. here they are

sample picture taken in CIF (288x352, 28kb)

and the same picture taken in "Extended" VGA (480x640, 62kb)
