I have heard that unlocking your phone affects the warrant but if you were to get orange to do that what would be the difference? how would SE know who or how it was unlocked!!!?
Aslo does the orange firmware updates affect the unlock? can anyone confirm either way???
need an answer quick!!! :S

ok thanx for that.... but i still need to know whether updating the "orange" firmware will re-lock the fone? its too risky, im scared!! dont want to pay another £10.00 to unlock!!
where on the orange website is the latest firmware?? cheers

if you flash your firmware, it will not lock your phone back onto orange network, the sim lock is seperate
