Would it be possible to get everyone to sign a petition to be sent to SE so they could work on a simple firmware upgrade so the phone could accept the Pro line of Memory Sticks?
(or has this firmware already been released?)

i doubt se can do this as they would have done it already for three reasons:
1) they would make so much money from duo pro sales that they would have done it already to make more cash.
2) they have so many people wanting the p900 to be duo pro compatible that they would have done it already to make more people happy. which leads to more cash.
3) they have so many people not buying this phone due to it not being duo pro compatible that they would have done it already to sell more phones. to make more cash. to sell more se phones in future. and to make nokia users more angry
