Greetings,

I have recorded my teacher talking and saying stuff but cannot seem to transfer it to my computer via uSB. I can only MMS, infrared, bluetooth etc... it. Is this possible?

What phone? T610/30/Z600 or any variation of one of those? Then I'm afraid it's hard... Can't you send it ass an MMS to your e-mail?

I'm guessing from where this is posted and you previous posts that you are talking about the P900

I just had a go and did it by the following method, you will need SMan

using filemanager in SMan go to C:\documents\voice\voicenote and try and locate the voice note you want.

tick the box at the beginning of that line and click DO and then copy

then navigate to C:\documents\media files\audio\unfiles and click DO and paste

you can then see that file from the PC using the standard "MY P900" application and therefore drag and drop it to any folder on your PC

also get a wav editor then adjust the amplitude lower the treble and now you can properly hear whats being said nice and loud also if your editor supports it use tape hiss reduction this setting does wonders in clarifying dull sound recordings.

Hi,

Thanks for your help. However, I didn't really want to install new software on the P900 - I'm low on space as it is with my 128MB MS Duo

Anyway, after 5 minutes of searching, I accessed C:blah blah via the browser on Internet

Internet --> Open Page --> file:///C:/ and navigate to that folder I found the voice file. I clicked it and it asked me if I wanted to download it? I did and it's now on my Stick ready to transfer!
