Gosh, this can vary from 10m to 250m depending on what type of blue tooth device and if u r in office space or open feild. What exactly r u trying to find out and about which type of blue tooth device - headset, dongle, pc card, or maybe even the se car???

One thing to remember is that the effective range will be limited to that of the device with ths shortest range.
I think the P900 BT has a 10m range, so even if you have a BT adaptor for your PC which quotes a range of 100m, you will still be limited to the 10m of the P900.

my P900 and HBH35
the distance is very very near
more than 2 meter without obstruction, and the voice quality will starting to distort
with obstruction such as gordyn, less then a meter

I am sorry to say but the range on the P900 is a very short one. This has been comfirmed by some specialists that I have been talking too. This is more when using a bluetooth headset.

I use my Powerbook to sync data with my P900 and it seems to work over a fair distance, often upto 5 meters with no obstruction.

Way off topic , if you want good range from phone to headset , try this old combo. T28ie and HBH10 or 15 this can and have given ranges upto 18,5 meters in free space and 12-13 m indoors ... Just something to think about ;-)

My r520 and hbh65 work fine 2gether, best result is 15m in d garden and a bit less indoor. As written b4 d former bt headsets r better, think r520 has got 1 of d best bt.
