My sync station no longer picks up my phone. Does neone have the same problem or ne ideas on fixing it???

have you installed any new software/firewall/antivirus etc on your pc?

Or, the contacts have become dirty and/or oxidised on the base of the phone. Remove the battery and gently clean the brass contacts on the base of the phone, refit battery etc and retry.

mine hasnt worked since i got the phone, 5 days ago. Even took my laptop into the Orange shop and spent 2 hrs on phone to tech support. Currently waiting for SonyEricsson to contact me... It's my laptop, we've tried my base unit and phone on my mates laptop and it works fine. I've uninstalled norton and xp firewall, made surem my com 7 port was enabled and all others disabled but nothing yet.... will post solution when i get it....btw, laptop is an Advent 7006
