hi
i read so many posts here but i couldn't find my answer.
i want to know is it possible to use my t610 to connect my laptop to the internet via a normal isp?
what i mean is:
i use a isp for conecting to the internet by my laptop and its internal modem and a regular analouge telephone line.
could i use my t610 to dial that isp and use my account to access to the internet?
here i haven't data subscribtion (gprs,gsm)

regards

Have you just tried it!

It works fine with my T610 on Orange in the UK - don't know about your provider and if they block data calls or not.

Just give it a try and see - you should have all the software you need that came with the phone.

Here on Orange Netherlands it works fine to dailup on my ISP account. Its a free number so even Orange wont charge it, i can just keep hours connected to the internet using my t610 or t68i for free (only ISP costs)

But make sure you select 9600bps and analuage as connectionspeed otherwise the connection can not be made.

I have a similar problem...

I would also like to connect to the internet using my T610. So far, the connection was ok in the sense that the network icon in the system tray was flashing. However, the flashing system icon showed that only outgoing packets were sent but no incoming packets were received. The internet connection was established, but I can't surf in the internet. The connection is using a blank user name and a blank password.

Pls help.

By the way, the t610 is used as a modem.
