> Good calendar app for P900 needed
Bookmark topic
Hey!
I just wonder if you could recommend me any good
calendar/organizer app for my P900. I don't like that inbuilt
calendar at all. I'm currently testing HandyDay 2004 which is
good. Is there any others I should try before I buy?
Is AquaCalendar good? Any others?
cheers

Hi,
I'm a bit surprise not many people seems to know about this GREAT, in fact, BEST Calendaring software for the Px00 series of smartphones. In short, it really rivals the likes of Palm's mature apps like Datebk plus, Agenda, etc. Check it out here:

i used to think the p900 calander was shit untill i got my head round it i find it very flexible the one offered in the link above seems to offer little that the p900 cannot do.
i find the standard calander function coupled with today view in tracker give otimum calender pleasure for most people.

Mhmm. I'll try the AquaCalendar. But one of the most important
things for me is to have a good weekly view, and the AquaCalendar
seems to focuse more on daily view...

Please Paulince, can you tell me the following:
1. can the default calendar software utilise icons?
2. can the default calendar let you link to any contacts that may be related to the event?
3. can the default calendar let you set which type of view you want, day, week, month, etc by default, everytime it's launched?
4. can the default calendar let you choose a different alarm sound of your preference for each and individual calendar entry?
5. can the default calendar allow you to choose which background picture you'd prefer to use, whether a common one for all pages or a different one for each page?
6. Does the default calendar supports full screen view, utilising the entire 320 x 208 screen to the max?
7. does the default calendar supports templates?
To me, the above are the most important improvements over the default calendar app, and there are many other smaller ones. How can one say that it provides 'LITTLE' improvement over the original? Have you ever lay your hands on this app before I really wonder?
Cheers

adnhk1 is sooo right! I was a dedicated DateBk5 user on Palm OS. Now I have found that Aqua Calendar, even if it's a very young program, is in many ways as good.
Pictures say more than words in this case

The 1.5 is now out with jog dial support and scedule phone call function.
