I am starting to recieve god damn annoying E-mail, I think its going to get worse. Got one today about some girl and some unorthadox method with a beer bottle. I don't want these. I don't think you lot would either, especially as they get recieved on the p900/p800. Especially if you recieve majority of your E-mail on the smartphone.

So instead of me going to the immortal lines of "Is there an app which will....". I will see if I can create an app myself. The app I had in mind would just be a small one which simply bounces user selected e-mail back to those evil, evil people. Also option to delete, etc.

This would be convenient rather than recieving them to your Outlook Express in which the bounce feature is not present.

I don't know how difficult it is to create an app but would be worthwhile in me learning. Obviously I need to download the SDK, I do have some programming knowledge. Hopefully I will be whacking up a tiny sis file.

I just wondering if this app would be usefull to people or not. What do you think of the idea?

good idea if you receive alot of your mail on the phone although obviously you will be generating more traffic and presumably costs for yourself

I receive most email on my laptop since I have it in front of me at work and home and I have been using a program called BSM for a few years to simulate a bounce

my ISP catches 99% of my spam these days so I have hardly had to use even that program since they started that feature at the beginning of the year

In the long run maybe not, the less spam going to your phone the less k in downloading headers, the bounce e-mail will probably be small.

Spam filters are great but not always.

Its probably better for 10 spam to come in then 1 non spam e-mail to not get recieved at all!

Cheers for input.
