It happened to mine when i installed Appforge booster. That night, was sat at pub and message came up, even though i hadnt touched phone. Tis a bit os a pain, but thats why you should backup at regular intervals.
[edit] and no, its not bluejacking...

No. I mean he send you a message probably a contact name which he edited with this message "internal file corupt, click continue for a system format". I've done something similar to a friend of mine.
However if that is not the case of bluejacking then I have no idea to help you but to take it to a SESC near you.

Lets start from the begining since we are not talking about bluejacking then.
Better to do an update with the latest firmware then. But I've never seen any message like that.

On the P900 you get this message is you attempt to format the internal memory via the service menu. I guess it forces a bad directory or something.
Once corrupted, there is no way out.

That's the kind of stuff that happens with devices like this.
Backing up regularly will make it less of a disaster but it's still annoying.
My p800 just blacks out and reboots automatically once a week when i'm typing a message or entering something in my agenda, or says stuff like "message incomplete" when i click on 'create new message' (sms). It's just the quircks you have to live with.
It even gets kinda cute when you get used to it! lol
