I was just looking at the coming soon section at Carphonewarehouse.com, and i saw:

S700 listed as "Expected July 2004"
K700 listed as "Expected June 2004"
Z500 listed as "expected June 2004"

This was very surprising, as i thought the Z500 was only for North America, and where on earth did they get July 2004 from 4Q?

Well, if that is true, they're getting the K700 late. Others places have speculated that they're getting the K700 at May.

They're just trying to tease you...

The expected dates are there as a guideline due to the interest of customers in new technology and future handsets. Unfortunately, due more to the manufacturers' over-ambitious claims about release dates than anything else, it is impossible to accurately predict, months in advance, when a phone will hit the market. Therefore, the only (and less favourable) alternative is to refuse to give even anticipated dates.

BTW, nowhere in the press release for the Z500 does it say it won't be available in the UK, it is merely the President of USA commenting, and he refers to the American product portfolio as you would expect.
