Regreetings to you all,
Having watched Finding Nemo, it became quite obvious that the sound from a file and the pictures are not synchronised. Is this due to the P900 or the actual encoding?
If so, I'm just using the standard PacketVideo thing that comes with it when you press Video. A near maximum buffering also does not solve the problem albeit what it says in the Help section when you press Edit.
Any solutions? Or will I just have to live with and lump it?

it is usually the encoding but heard also that the video player has problems playing large files.
Which program u use to encode it? pvpacket recorder and mpegable r good.
Also u can use philips camcoder app as a video player Much better then the built one but it can only play files with AMR sound and not AAC..

if its the version of nemo im thinking of, (the one from the esato p900 forum?), then its they way that the films been encoded and not the p900s fault. if you download quicktime for the pc and play it then it will still go out of sync. its a fault with the actual encoding process and always seems to happen with mp4s, the long ones are most affected but even 3 minute music videos go out of sync.
youll have to live with it im afraid! or you could try the smartmovie thingy on my-symbian.com, it uses other formats than just mp4. hope that helps!

I see. Thanks anyway.
I downloaded
http://baxtersbluebone.com/vi[....]emo_SmoothMotion_goodAudio.mp4 (it gets quite noticeable towards the end, about a 3 second delay at most and 2 seconds at least).
http://www.3gpvideo.co.uk/mus[....]a%20&%20RedMan%20-%20Dirty.mp4 (you can see about 1.5 seconds delay)
http://www.3gpvideo.co.uk/music/Britney%20Spears%20-%20Toxic.mp4 (about 1 second delay)
But I can tolerate it. Many thanks to the people uploading these things.
