i have a new p800 and i am wondering does anyone have the answers to a few problems i am having

main thing is that i wonder why certain applications are available in the flip closed mode and some are not - is this to do with the programming of the individual apps -- there is a timer app which i use but when the timer goes off then i have to open the flip to turn it off -- i have a few other apps which i would like to be able to access in flip closed mode - is there a way to do this

next i am bothered by how quickly the screen backlight goes off ( 30 secs ) -- can i change this to 90 or something

my battery barely lasts a day - this is with most extras ( bluetooth etc ) off and only being on the phone (talking) about 15 mins and just going throught the menus etc a bit - is this normal

can the vibration in silent mode be adjusted to vibrate more ?? - like twice as long for an sms

thanks

i've noticed that with a few people, the battery takes a while before the real battery life starts to kick in, like after a few days of using it, charging it, discharging it and stuff, before it actually starts to become longer and longer, this was definately the case with my and a few other peoples p900 battery, which i am pretty sure is just the same as the p800's battery but just more powerful

the backlight cannot be extended to more than 30 seconds i do not think, it's either, auto, off, or on, on is constantly on, off is constantly off, so i guess it is best to have it on auto, i never thought it was any problem of having 30 seconds before the backlight switched off.

the vibrate function....this i am not tooo sure about, but i know that with some sony ericsson ringtones, the vibrate function will vibrate accordingly to how the tune goes, but this isn't the case when you use your own ringtone, but i am not too sure about this one
