This problem is doing my head in as this is my third P900, and even though it has a newer firmware on it, it still persists to crash while i am trying to enter text using handwriting recognition, whats wrong with this thing! anyone else experiencing the same fault? it may be a problem in a backup that u have done, and have restored on2 the new fone, otherwise it will b a problem with a program in your fone(i.e handy day) could be conflicting, i found that out with t9 and handyday 2004 on organiser r4a06

Theres a java text entry bug in the p8 and 900, not sure if it applies to handwriting too, but it exists in all firmware revisions to my knowledge. Under what circumstances is the crash occurring?

mine crashes on T9 when i ented "..." not always, but 50% of the time. If i enter "." then ok, then move back a space, and repeat the process 3 times (to achieve the same effect) everything is fine!

This problem seems to exsist in virtually all P900 firmwares to date, unless i am mistaken, so why has nothing been done by SE to Jim'll fix it?
