When you get the Software in your phone upgraded do you lose the settings in your phone?

Thanks cause when I got my software upgraded yesterday and no settings was lost so I just wondered if they DID do the software upgrade after all

check your firmware version by entering the following sequence (and ignore whatever you see on screen as you do this)
right joystick
star key
left joystick
left joystick
star key
left joystick
star key
then click on service info and then SW information. you shuold have R4C003 for the latest T610 unbranded firmware or possibly R6B004 which seems to be available in some countries.
