Has anyone else experienced problems sending email through the smtp orange server?
GPRS is working fine as is pop3. This is on my P800 AND home pc!
Any suggestions?

If u have a gprs connection for email the smtp server should be smtp.orange.net regardless of who ur email account is with. Goto the oranhe homepage. Select email and organise then dont log in but choose 'your details'. Log in after and check ur username and passwod

I think it has something to do with the smtp settings of orange changing. I will try utting my mobile number as the login for smtp settings.
Its not a GPRS settings problem as Im having the same problem with my Outlook express which dials into the same server...but this uses a broadband LANDLINE.
Strange.

Apparently this is a known problem with Orange and they are looking into it.
So nothing to do with my phone or GPRS, its the service provider!
Thanks for your help though guys.
