Hey all,
Just bought a P900. Read through some threads, and came across OGG. Have not heard of this format before, does anyone have any good links to OGG converters/players???
Also is the Sony Memory Stick Duo 128mb the maximum limit on memory sticks??? Can you purchase other brands, sizes etc???
Also is there anyway to add a contact to the P900 without using the stylus?
Finally any tips and tricks on this??? Am trying to update my P900OS with the latest update but am having difficulty as I download the update service file, execute to my PC but because I am having the mstaskmanager.exe problem (see other forum post) I cant update it.
Any help would be cool.

Have a look at these search results this will explain what ogg files are and where you will get the player.
Search for ogg player
128 MB is the maximum limit for teh memory stick of a p900
You can add a contact in the Flip closed mode only if you set the option in Phone>preferences> Add to contacts >On to 'on' and even in this way you can add a contact only if you receive a call from some one.
PS: Use the search facility on the top right hand corner of the page and it will answer almost all of your questions.

I used dBpowerAMP for CD ripping and the OGG codec for making 128bps .ogg files. I then used the Unrealplayer (purchased from Handango) to listen to the music on my P910 - and one more thing, I used Sony EX71SLB headphones. The quality of sound was out of this world, near CD quality, 3D sound! The Unrealplayer even plays my MP3s better than the in-built Music Player of the P910.
I highly recommend this package for real music fans who need quality music on the move (i.e. dbPowerAMP, OGG, Unrealplayer & Sony EX71SLB phones)

compress the oggs to 64Kbs because they sound pretty much the same as 128 Kbs mp3s (on the p900) and are smaller filesize so you cant store 50+ ogg files.dwnload ogg player on your p900 so you can listen to the oggs.
you can get ogg player here:

@dekesh
How does the sound reproduction of the Ogg player compare with the Unrealplayer for ogg files?

Is this the most highly recommended Ogg player to use? Or does anyone recommend anything better?

Incidentally, to answer another original question, it does seem as if it's technically possible for the P900 to accept larger MS DUO PRO cards via a firmware update.
However, Sony Ericsson have not released a firmware update for the P900 to enable this (and they probably won't either, because they don't really care about existing customers).
It's only been done by flashing with P910 firmware, but that can only be done using special hardware. Not via the SE update site.
So it looks like 128MB is the limit for now. Shame.

qwerty I think they still have Bluetooth issues with that 910 upgrade dont they?
Do you know if the p910 allows you to add contacts in with the flip closed, unlike the 900?
