Vodafone has said it will be 26pence per MMS in the UK. That's not too bad, only just over twice the price of SMS.
It's got to be a high enough price that it's attractive for the operators, so they will push MMS phones, yet cheap enough to use.
The big thing is going to be getting enough MMS handsets into the market, with upgrade cycles being 18-24 months, and current phones not supporting MMS (apart from the T68i, of course) it is likely to be about 2 years before you'll be able to send MMS to "lots" of people. Before then, just the chose few.

£0.26 is about €0.40
Which doesn't seem that bad, but like andrew99 said the T68i is the only phone with mms. The mms phones will also have to be a lot cheaper if it is to catch on fast! like the nokia3510. I hope Ericsson could make a new low cost T65 with mms that would be nice

Hi,
Here in Portugal, Vodafone has MMS working, it's free until June, and then they will charge €0.45 (EURO) per MMS.

I remember in the days of economics at university. This ia a prime example of the 'bandwagon' effect! The more people that have this device, the more is potential value!
Now im hedging millions of USDs!!!!
