I never had these problems with Samsungs. My major annoyance was that they had awful signals!!!

I'm surprised at this, My E700 has been rock solid, never failed once, unlike I had the T300 before which was exceptionally buggy, even after FW upgrades. Samsung is definitly the most well made phone i have used by far!

I had a A300 when they first came out. Amazing phone. Only fault was when i dropped it down the toilet and it frazzled

I guess not all, it was just an isolated case here with the C100 - original poster. Samsung have good new fone releases, I like the ones which are flip-types and the V200 as well.
