On Z200, there's a greyed out "Picture msg".
What is it? (It's at Write new message - options)

I think you'll find that it is either:
1) A legacy menu item that was retained on the z200 (i.e. sony may have made one operating system across several phones, just disabling features across the phones as necessary - so another phone (not a z200 with the same OS might have that option enabled).
2) If I remember right, the z200 doesn't have a camera - but you may be able to attach one on later. Therefore, if you get a camera for the phone, the option should become enabled and you can send picture messages - essentially an sms message with a picture/sound/recorded attachment (known as an mms message (Multimedia Message Service)).
I think it is more likely to be (2) - perhaps someone else could clear this up.
