I've been reading a lot of threads recently about running MSN and IRC on your phone and now I am a bit puzzled. I am waiting for my P900 currently and hopefully it will arrive within a week, and while I am waiting I would like to ask the question; Which application is the best one for using MSN and which is the best IRC application?

Are there applications that download less data than others, for the same purpose? Which ones should I choose?

Why is that program better over other programs such as Agile and 12planet's IM?

jmsn @ http://shop.my-symbian.com/Se[....]900&txtSearch=jmsn¤cy=O2

http://shop.my-symbian.com/Pl[....]d=65183§ionId=0&catalog=20

and

http://shop.my-symbian.com/Pl[....]d=94761§ionId=0&catalog=20

First link is for the list of jmsn, the second and third link is for jMSN and jMSN Pro... both cost money.
I like the pro version. Easy to use and works like normal MSN Messenger.

Jmsn is available at my-symbian, but it comes with a price tag now:

http://shop.my-symbian.com/Pl[....]Id=94761§ionId=0&catalog=1

Quirc is free, also at my-symbian:

http://www.my-symbian.com/uiq/download/search.php?name=Quirc

Both are PJava apps (not midlets).

I have a hotmail adress so that won't be a problem.. Any disadvatanges other than that, with the application? Why does it use less data?

it's just the idea that i had that jmsn costs more data on the login, maybe because the program looks better. Tipic is more simple.

If you visit http://www.tipic.com and register there you can at least try tipic and if you don't like it you can always buy jmsn don't you think?
