Hey, these are a few issues I've had with my phone. Sorry if I'm not supposed to put more than one issue in a post... If any of you have any thoughts on these issues, I'd really love to hear them....
- It's great that my phone has replaced my minidisc player. the only thing is there should be more control of the audio application. Like, if you accept a call while you're listening to music, when the call ends, the music doesn't come back on. Other things like volume control, pause, etc... would be very helpful. Has anyone seen a handsfree that helps with these issues? I hoped maybe it would be possible to use voice control for these functions but, no.....
- Has any one found a solution of not being able to sync more than one outlook contact folder?
- SyncStation and mac:
My main computer is mac os x, i have a pc I use for syncing because I'm not able to sync p900 with entourage. I wanted to hook up the sync station to my mac to transfer some mp3s etc... but it doesn't work. the only thing SE says is "look at the apple website". Apple's documentation of isync doesn't deal with syncstation. I've been able to pair it with blutooth but it doesn't show up with the syncstation. I want to be able to browse the internal/external memory of the phone on my mac, like you can with the pc suite. Am I even supposed to be able to do that?

welcome to esato pal!
i cant really help with the other stuff but i can with the mac issues. theres a mac forum in the 'general' section of the discussion forum,
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=52690. theres plenty of mac heads in there to help.
Due to some awful malfunction in se's head they decided not to let the mac support the sync station despite se being one of apple's favourite companies (always cross advertising and such) the only way to actually get it working is to buy Virtual PC for mac which basically emulates windows, you can find it in the apple.com store. Its a bit expensive and slow tho but thankfully you have a few more options.....
the best way to sync is to use isync, the p900 might not show up as a compatible device until you update isync itself, open 'system preferences' and then open 'software update' and download any relevant updates. Turn your phone and mac off and then back on and then try and pair them again. When it works it'll sync with your mac's adress book application and iCal. It wouldnt hurt to firmware upgrade the phone as well using a pc and the syncstation (see the sonyericsson.com website).
if this fails then you can make backups of your adress book by opening contacts and finding an option that says "send group". This will send all your contact information to the mac as a file which will import into the mac's adress book when opened.
you can send files over bluetooth with your mac but only one at a time as the phone stores them in its small internal memory before you can move them to a memory stick. This is pretty damn slow really. Also you cant browse the p900 over bluetooth. Best way to transfer large files and to view the p900's memory is to use a usb memory stick reader/writer. These are pretty cheap, see the thread here

thanks for the reply and the welcome.
yeah, I've been able to set up the bluetooth.
I was trying to see if there is a better way. like with sync station and being able to browse the phone on the desktop like you can with pc.
the bluetooth is ok but you can only send to internal memory, etc...
