> Conference Call Feature Of The P900
Bookmark topic
Has anyone used it here? What do you think of it? I tried it today and has been found very easy to use. I had 3 of my mates on the call talking about business. Even when you hold someone for a moment they get a voice saying "You are on hold" or something like. Maybe thats done by the network.
Definately a step forward from using the ol' t18 ericsson. The P900 has all the people on the phone with their pictures all staring at you.
I will probably go for 4 people(not including myself) in the next conference call as they are on the same network and I got ED50.
How high has anyone got in the way of no of people in a conference call? Did the P900 support it well? Also any other features which the P900 can do for Conference calling?

Great feature. Orange don't charge anything for using the service either, except the normal cost of any outgoing calls.
I have had four concurrent calls in a conference. Only problem is if you lose your reception (I was on a train), everyone else gets cut off too.

@switchbitch
Don't panic. Just place four calls to Orange Customer Services and select different options on the IVR.

Hi all,
Iam from India, We and my friends once tested the conference call option of all our phones, I had 3 people excluding myself on my p900, and we networked and finally we rounded up somewhere around 13 people on the same conversation, it was chaos i assure u. but it was fun at around 1 in the night waking up and everybody shouting a welcome message to the latest entrant.
And there was another time when 4 of us on conference called up the customer service and scared the devil out of the poor girl, she had her hands or her ears full answering questions frm all of us.
that was fun too.
previously calling between the same network was free frm my service provider and we used to conference very often, but now it is chargeable and so we have stopped it.

I didn't think about that. You can have a full 8 on one handset, and one of those could call another 7. Then one of those could call another 7. 22 People in a conference call, how would Orange cope?
Conference call is great but can be crazy on the ol phone bill.
The p900 though makes joining calls a doddle.
