Hi there,

Sorry for two problems posted in such short succession, but I have another issue.

This time it's my phone. I cannot, for the life of me, get the phone to respect the "increase ring volume" preference. No matter whether I turn this on or off, the phone *always* starts off soft (it does a kind of beep beep first, then starts ringing softly) before the ringing eventually gets to the acceptable level.

Anyone else have this issue? Any solutions?

Sonyericsson phones have done this since the T610.
The two quiet rings before the ringtone kicks in, are designed so you dont deafen yourself if for some stupid reason you have the phone next to your ear when your not in a call
