@boyi & @bobafett - I guess what @walids is trying to depict is the latest movie of Mel Gibson (Producer/Director) - The Passion of Christ! For me this is just one of a major breakthrough in terms of making movies which has a 'religious' touch. Here in Manila, we always watch thru the national television same re-runs of the Life of Jesus made during the Lenten Season, the one w/c was produced in the 50's. But to my surprise when I saw the teaser of the latest movie, it was the exact replica of the one I am viewing for the past 20 years. Though this one was more 'bloodier' and cruelty done to Jesus was given more emphasis compared to the original one.

@bobafett - I am a movie freak, some say that I am already a 'critic' at that ! What keeps me wondering eversince I become addicted to watching movies is that why the producers do not make films which has some 'religious' relevance? I know for a fact that they are 100% after - big profit, not until Mel Gibson made this one. Like in the case of Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer and James Cameron, why can't they make/produce worthwhile religious movies nowadays? Not just making perennial action-hit movies in the like of Tomb Raider and The Matrix .
There are 'rumors' going on that an 'inevitable' asteroid is about to hit the Earth, in a few years time - effect is similar to what happened during Noah's time. Major flooding will be felt everywhere !
Though this has not been so much publicized in such major news channels - BBC and CNN to avoid paranoia and panic.
Better start repenting from our sins mates!
Here's the photo of the big-hit movie 'The Passion of Christ' . . .

I read the book on 3 languages just to suck his person in me, hannibal lecter is amazing. Or more the writer of the trilogy. Havent been to cinema in the last 2 years, next time for sure to star wars 3. Not many interest for the movies of now a days, if it is, i watch them on dvd. This message was posted from a R520
