Hi Esato members,
I recently got a T39m hand-me-down, after I discovered mine was blocked on Orange UK. (See my previous posts for history).
The new phone works fine, except it won't connect to anything, except via infra red (ie no bluetooth or direct serial/rs232). Anything, so far includes:
- My computer running Windows 2000 with a BT 6967 bluetooth dongle, direct serial adaptor (unbranded) or a SE branded usb cable
- Other phones (SE, Nokia & Siemens)
- Jabra BT200 headset.
These other devices were able to connect to my old (orange-blacklisted) phone, and to one another. The software revision of the new phone is R3B006. I've tried every menu setting that seemed remotely relevant, including master reset.
Are there any known problems that might cause this? Are there any tips that might resolve it? Or is this another (differently) broken phone?
Alternatively if someone knows of a new, sim free Z600 in the UK, for less that £160 I'm all ears.
