Hi... Just half a day of moderate usage of my p900 gives me half used battery, i know this shouldnt be the case as my p900 is only 2 weeks old! im using SMAN and have the flipclose flush feature on, although when going back into SMAN lots of applications are running, any other settings i need to change?

thanx!

Using SMan close the applications you aren't using

I get about 4 days battery life with minimal use of my P900, with 6 hour's constant use I end up with a flat battery after about 14 hours.

You may not have taken a "snapshot". To do this, tick the boxes of all the applications except sman and press the "end task" icon. The screen will flicker and all running applications will close. Next, press the icon with the picture of a camera on it (snapshot). You will be prompted with "are you sure you want to take a snapshot?" select "yes". Now, if you have "flipclose flush" and "forced endtask" selected, sman will close all running applications when the flip is closed. rtfm

@azzeg:

For a flush to work, it must take a snapshot of your phone. What I'd suggest if you restart your phone and run SMan, end all programs you do not want running in SMan when you flush. Then, run all applications that you do not want SMan to flush. This gives you a list of applications that you want running in memory. Then do a snapshot.

Restart the phone and use like normal, a flush after that will preserve all programs that was listed when you did a snapshot, all else gets removed from memory.

May I suggest you read the manual.

thanx everyone, i think the problem was that i didnt have "forced endtask" on and didnt take the right snapshot... I will see how battery life goes now... BTW manuals suck, esato members are much cooler and explain things better!!!

thanx again

just wanted to say that mt p800 formated my C: and all data was lost, but then my battery last 2 times longer, so installed programs may slow down the phone and use more power to think standard things, or just a full harddrive drains battery, think about it....

Check the following SMan menu item
Fn -> Utilities -> AutoStart -> SMan

This will ensure that SMan starts up at power up. A correct snapshot will ensure that applications you want will not flush on flip close (if the option is set)
