It's real. I found this a while. I accidently sit on my phone, when i realized that i sit on it, it was off. So i tried again. I locked it, and pressed and hold the "No" button for about 15 seconds and it turned off. I tried on both my T68m and T68i and it worked.
I think this is stupid

It is hard to belieive people do with their phone these days. In Taiwan recently, a woman stuff her Nokia phone(in vibrating mode)in to her virginal. It got stuck, need surgical removal

I still remember i was using T28 at that time. Nobody will think of using T28 come with antenna to stuff it into their virginal. May be this is the reason why T28 wasn't that popular in Taiwan and the rest of the world
